Years of Servitude, ahem, volunteering: 2 as art grant lead for Mosaic

Role(s): Why do you do it? I'm a sucker and agree to things while inebriated? Honestly being art grant lead is really special to me. Being able to help build our community via direct communication to the art base is amazing. Art is such an important part of my life and being able to help facilitate in it gives me the warm squishy feels.

How does your dept matter? Go make art and you tell me!

How does volunteering improve your burn/make you happy/work for you? Art is better than Gin.

Why should someone consider volunteering for you? We don't get a golf cart but we have lots of Gin. Oh yeah, and art.

What's your favourite volunteer story? Taco won mosaic 2018!

What's your best burner skill? I have a really good butt. You should ask to touch it sometime.

What's your choice nugget of wisdom for a virgin burner? Start a cult. People will like you more if you have koolaid to share.

Why do you love burning? Community building is huge in my life. Between running a theme camp and participating as a lead this allows me many opportunities to watch the people I love build something larger.

How have burns changed your life? They've challenged me to question my abilities, to push myself more often to be a better rabbit/human.

What does consent mean to you? Ask 1st, ask again. define boundaries. What is given can also be taken away. So clearly make sure you talk about it.

Which principle is primary for you and why? Principles are not rules but the fundamental groundwork for our community. They should be questioned, interpreted and added to. So I don't have a primary cuz I feel all of them have some deal of importance.

What keeps you sane in Defaultia? Sane ha. Have you ever met a sane rabbit?

What do you want to be when you grow up? Perpetual Peter Pan, but mostly just happy.
