This role is responsible for setting up ticket sales for the event, facilitating the need-based ticket program, and monitoring ticket sales and emails. This position requires the ability to handle information in a confidential and sensitive manner. 

Pre-event responsibilities:

  • Set up ticket sales with ticket vendor

  • Write up ticket information and updates for the website and social media promotions

  • Monitor ticket sales

  • Respond to email inquiries regarding tickets

  • Handles the Need-based ticket program - This involves matching up requests for ticketing funding with community donations. 

  • Prepare final ticket list to share with Gate Leads

  • Ticketing lead does not facilitate the exchange of tickets or refunds

Event responsibilities:

  • None

Post-event responsibilities: 

  • Write up afterburn report

Skills needed

  • The ability to handle personal information in a confidential and sensitive manner is crucial 

  • Clear communication skills - phone, email, social media

  • Knowledgeable in Google Sheets

  • Organized 

Ticketing lead will work closely with the Bean Counter, Gate and Consent leads
