RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-event Offsite:
Attend online leads meetings or communicate when unable to attend.
Attend leads retreats or communicate when unable to attend.
Work with co-lead(s) to determine shuttle hours and driver shifts for coming year, as well as any volunteers needed for set up and take down of signage and lights.
Communicate shifts needed to the volunteer coordinator within requested timeline. (TBD)
Determine any supplies needed for coming year and cost, and communicate to LLC.
Write announcements/updates, send to promos, and post on social media as needed:
Call-out for theme camps to host mobility stops. (Require 2 chairs, sheltered if possible.)
Call-out for volunteer drivers.
Use social media to inform participants of what is going to be available, when it will be operating, where the shuttle stops will be, who can use it, how to make use of it, and how they can help.
Work with placement to get shuttle stops where they are needed.
Work with placement to create a printable shuttle route map.
Pre-event Onsite:
Signage assembled. Batteries in lights. Set up all shuttle stops.
Check in with leads of all camps hosting stops, and communicate expectations of MMC and host camp during event. (Ie pulling chairs out of weather, turning off lights)
Add decorations, lights, and signage to mobility golf cart. (Should be easily visible and identifiable.)
During event:
Greet and train drivers as they report for their shifts. Meet drivers at the end of their shifts to collect the key and assure that the next driver is greeted and trained.
Be prepared to fill in for drivers that fail to show up for their shift.
Remain available by radio during burn, unless co-lead is covering.
Post-event onsite:
Collect and pack all the signage and decorations for storage.
Remove and pack all batteries from lights.
Note any materials that need replacing for following year.
Post-event offsite:
Work with co-lead in writing the afterburn report.
